• The deposit from the roommate will be applied when the roommate moves out. 
• If the two roommates remaining do not want a third roommate, they can elect to cover the rent payment of the third.
• If not, the roommates can select a new roommate themselves (must pass background and credit check by property management.)
• If not, property management will place a new roommate.

Capitol Quarters is the first battery in lieu of fossil fuel generator for back up power. It is also the first car-free multifamily building, re-allocating space for cars to housing for people. The building saves about 30% annual cost in energy bills due to air-tight walls with better insulation and super-efficient VRF systems. The building is anticipated to receive credentials for Austin Energy Green Building for performance, Fitwel for active design, and Green Seal for using carcinogen-free cleaning products.

There are 30 covered bike parking spaces outside in a protected fence with awning overhead for commuter bikes. Nicer bikes can live in your room – or the public space pending your roommate agreements.
